About Friends of Easebourne Parish (FrEP)

Friends of Easebourne Parish (FrEP) has been in existence since 2018. At that time we were known as ‘Friends of Easebourne Park’ and all our focus was on work carried out within Easebourne Park to assist Easebourne Parish Council maintain and improve the facilities of the wonderful parish asset that is Easebourne Park. FrEP continues the work within the park but in 2019 the name was changed to ‘Friends of Easebourne Parish’ to better reflect the wider diversity of work being undertaken by our group.

Volunteers regularly pick litter throughout the parish, which includes Henley village, King Edward VII Estate as well as Easebourne village. We work to improve areas requiring attention such as bus shelters, footpaths, road signage and pavements while also continuing to carry out various tasks within Easebourne Park including tending to the
trees and shrubs, planting new fruit trees and specimen native trees donated by parishioners in ‘Carbon Corner’ and annually planting a large number of bulbs.

FrEP has also been significantly involved in raising funds for a number of parish projects.
